Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive financial models to project cash flow and capital requirements for technical research.

- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and investor reporting packages for board meetings.
- Coordinate with legal and tax professionals to ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Advise founders on equity distribution and cap table management during fundraising rounds.
- Implement rigorous internal controls and financial reporting systems for maturing startup organizations.
- Perform sensitivity analysis on research and development timelines to mitigate financial risk.
Qualifications
- A minimum of ten years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or venture capital.
- Demonstrated expertise in building complex, dynamic financial models for high-growth companies.
- A deep understanding of GAAP and IFRS accounting standards as they apply to technology firms.
- Proven experience in leading successful Series A or Series B fundraising rounds.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and enterprise resource planning systems.
- Professional certification such as a CPA or CFA designation.
