- Coordinate with external tax professionals and auditors to facilitate year-end filings and financial reviews.
- Analyze departmental budgets to ensure resource allocation aligns with the organization's core values and strategic goals.
- Supervise junior accounting staff or third-party bookkeeping services to maintain data integrity.
- Present clear financial reports and key performance indicators to stakeholders and board members.
Qualifications
- A minimum of seven to ten years of experience in corporate accounting or financial management roles.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related quantitative field.
- Advanced proficiency in cloud-based accounting software and enterprise resource planning systems.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex financial operations for non-profits or social enterprises.
- Expert-level knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and tax compliance regulations.
- Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial organizational leaders.
