Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, or forensic engineering is mandatory.
- Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) is typically required for senior-level expert work.
- Demonstrated expertise in collision reconstruction software such as PC-Crash or HVE.
- Extensive knowledge of vehicle dynamics, kinematics, and materials science.
- Experience in the collection and preservation of physical evidence for legal chain of custody.
- Strong technical writing skills for the production of forensic reports.
