Responsibilities

- Manage and mentor a team of senior forensic analysts and incident responders through complex investigative cycles.
- Lead the technical response to major security incidents including data exfiltration, ransomware, and insider threats.
- Ensure that all forensic collection and analysis processes adhere to international legal standards and chain-of-custody protocols.
- Present detailed investigative findings and risk assessments to the board of directors and legal departments.
- Coordinate with external law enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies during formal criminal or civil investigations.
- Allocate departmental budgets for the procurement of specialized forensic software and laboratory hardware.
Qualifications
- Ten or more years of experience in digital forensics or incident response with significant leadership roles.
- Expertise in forensic toolsets such as EnCase, FTK, or X-Ways Forensics and memory analysis frameworks.
- Comprehensive knowledge of criminal and civil law as it pertains to digital evidence and privacy regulations.
- Advanced professional certifications such as the Certified Computer Examiner (CCE) or EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE).
- A Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Digital Forensics.
- Proven experience in managing multi-million dollar security budgets and large-scale technical teams.

- Experience testifying as an expert witness in high-profile legal proceedings regarding digital evidence.
- Relevant industry certifications such as the GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
