Design Systems Product Manager

Responsibilities

- Measure and report on the adoption rates and technical performance of the system across the organization.
- Advocate for design system value to executive stakeholders to secure long-term funding and resources.
- Coordinate with engineering leads to ensure component parity between different platforms like React, iOS, and Android.
- Produce comprehensive documentation and training materials to facilitate seamless onboarding for new users.
- Lead cross-functional working groups to resolve conflicting requirements between different product pillars.
Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in product management, specifically focusing on developer tools or design infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of front-end development technologies such as CSS, HTML, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Professional proficiency with design software like Figma or Sketch and a strong grasp of design-to-code handoff processes.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies and data-driven decision-making processes.
- Strong technical writing skills for creating developer-facing documentation and architectural specifications.

- Previous experience as a front-end engineer or UI designer in a large-scale product organization.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards including WCAG 2.1 compliance and inclusive design principles.
