Customer Success Operations Director
Strategic leadership of systems and data to scale customer retention and lifecycle efficiency.
Overview
This career focuses on the mechanics of the post-sale customer journey, transforming high-level business goals into repeatable operational frameworks. Day-to-day work involves a mix of high-stakes data analysis, software architectural decisions, and internal stakeholder management to eliminate friction in the customer lifecycle. The rhythm is dictated by quarterly performance cycles and the continuous need to refine churn prediction models and health scoring systems.
Individuals who excel in this field possess a blend of technical data proficiency and organizational empathy. The work requires a deep understanding of how customer success managers interact with clients, balanced with a cold, analytical eye for where time is being wasted or where data is missing. Success is measured by the ability to increase team productivity and provide leadership with clear, actionable visibility into account health and revenue retention trends.

- Develop comprehensive reporting frameworks to track net revenue retention and gross revenue retention.
- Build automated playbooks for customer onboarding, renewal, and expansion phases.
