- Ensure all data management activities adhere to Good Clinical Practice and regulatory agency requirements.
- Collaborate with biostatisticians to prepare datasets for analysis and reporting to health authorities.
- Oversee the coding of medical terms using standardized dictionaries like MedDRA and WHODrug.
- Lead the database lock process to ensure data is final and ready for statistical analysis.
Qualifications
- A bachelor degree in life sciences, computer science, or a related healthcare field is mandatory.
- Proven experience in clinical data management within a pharmaceutical or CRO setting is required.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Data Capture systems like Medidata Rave or Oracle Clinical is essential.
- Thorough knowledge of FDA, EMA, and ICH regulatory guidelines is necessary for compliance.
- Advanced skills in structured data cleaning and discrepancy management are fundamental requirements.
- Familiarity with CDISC standards such as SDTM and CDASH is required for data formatting.
