Responsibilities
- Direct the company's long-term business strategy to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
- Manage relationships with private equity investors, banks, and other financial stakeholders.
- Oversee the legal and business affairs departments to ensure all intellectual property is protected.
- Implement operational systems for budgeting, financial reporting, and human resources across multiple productions.
- Negotiate complex distribution agreements and co-production deals with global streamers and studios.
- Evaluate the commercial viability of the creative slate in collaboration with the Head of Production.
- Supervise the application for and collection of domestic and international film tax credits.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in senior operational or financial management within the media and entertainment industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in film finance, including structured debt, equity, and gap financing.
- Deep understanding of intellectual property law and entertainment industry contract standards.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar production budgets and corporate P&L.
- Advanced degree in business administration, law, or a related field.
