Manage the engineering budget and track spending against quarterly financial targets.
Facilitate the strategic planning process for technical roadmaps and organizational design.
Lead cross-functional special projects that involve multiple engineering squads and external vendors.
Draft internal and external communications for the CTO, including board presentations and company-wide updates.
Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks within the engineering department to improve developer velocity.
Monitor key performance indicators and technical health metrics to report on organizational progress.
Coordinate the logistics and agenda for engineering leadership offsites and management meetings.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
At least eight years of experience in technology management or technical program management.
Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar budgets and complex resource allocation.
Expertise in project management frameworks and organizational change management.
Advanced proficiency in executive-level reporting and financial modeling tools.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent advanced management degree.
Experience working in high-growth software-as-a-service (SaaS) environments.
Prior experience as a software engineer or technical architect.
Professional certification in project management such as PMP or Prince2.
Work is primarily performed in professional office environments with significant time spent in video conferences.
