Qualifications
- Active Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credential from the American Welding Society.
- High school diploma or equivalent with several years of hands-on welding experience.
- Working knowledge of industry codes such as AWS D1.1 or ASME Section IX.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
- Physical ability to perform inspections in confined spaces or at significant heights.
- Successful completion of vision acuity exams including color perception tests.
