Responsibilities
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D schematic drawings for industrial plant layouts and structural systems.

- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and version control for all facility blueprints.
- Conduct site visits to verify existing conditions and ensure design implementations match specified technical requirements.
- Analyze space utilization data to optimize the flow of materials and personnel within manufacturing environments.
- Review designs against local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Update facility records to reflect as-built changes following the completion of construction or renovation projects.
Qualifications
- An Associate or Bachelor degree in Drafting, Design Technology, or a related engineering field.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing principles.
- Working knowledge of industrial building codes and OSHA safety standards.
- Five or more years of experience in technical drafting or facility layout design.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex engineering specifications.

- Professional certification in BIM (Building Information Modeling) or advanced CAD systems.
- Prior experience managing large-scale facility relocation or expansion projects.
