- Evaluate and select appropriate blockchain frameworks such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, or Polkadot for specific business needs.
- Develop security models to protect decentralized networks against common attack vectors and cryptographic vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to oversee the integration of decentralized applications with existing backend services.
- Draft technical specifications and whitepapers detailing the economic and operational logic of the blockchain network.
- Lead performance tuning efforts to optimize transaction throughput and reduce network latency.
- Monitor emerging trends in decentralized finance and cryptography to inform long-term infrastructure roadmaps.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field is standard.
- Extensive experience in software development with proficiency in languages such as Rust, Go, or C++ is essential.
- Deep technical knowledge of cryptographic hash functions, digital signatures, and public-key infrastructure is required.
- Proven experience designing distributed systems or high-concurrency microservices architectures is necessary.
- Understanding of smart contract development and common security pitfalls within the Solidity or Move ecosystems is mandatory.
