Responsibilities

- Coordinate with hospital clinical engineering departments to schedule service windows that minimize patient disruption.
- Document all service actions, parts used, and technical findings in a centralized computerized maintenance management system.
- Provide technical training to hospital staff and biomedical equipment technicians on the safe operation of new machinery.
- Manage a local inventory of spare parts and specialized diagnostic tools to ensure high first-time fix rates.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems and circuit boards.
- Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards such as HIPAA and FDA Quality System Regulations.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record for frequent travel to client sites.
- Certification in specific medical equipment modalities such as X-ray, MRI, or laboratory diagnostics.
- Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and specialized calibration software.
